Emily Sinclair - soprano
(Chicago, IL)
Emily Sinclair, soprano, has performed with several opera companies across the United States, including Central City Opera, Kentucky Opera, DuPage Opera and Utah Festival Opera Company. She recently returned from a residency at Opera Colorado, where she performed the roles of Donna Anna in Don Giovanni and Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, as well as covering the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor. Her operatic roles include Gilda in Rigoletto, Laetitia in The Old Maid and the Thief and Valencienne in The Merry Widow. Her performance of Hera in the world premiere of Hagemann's Paris and Oenone was hailed as "alluring" in the New York Times.
Ms. Sinclair was recently a District Winner in the Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions, and performed at Chicago's Symphony Center as a Regional Finalist. She was the 2nd Prize Winner at the 2001 Washington International Competition, and has won several prizes from the Bel Canto Foundation, most recently a 2004 Bella Voce Award.
Ms. Sinclair holds degrees from Northwestern University, Manhattan School of Music and Yale University. She has performed in concert and recital around the country in venues such as Seiji Ozawa Hall at the Tanglewood Music Festival and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City. In the Midwest, she has been the soprano soloist for Mozart's Requiem and Handel's Messiah. In June 2004, she will perform Schönberg's Pierrot Lunaire with Lakeshore Chamber Music.

Daniel Bubeck - countertenor
(Bloomington, IN)
Countertenor, Daniel Bubeck made his professional operatic debut to critical acclaim in the 2000 world premiere of John Adams' Opera/Oratorio El Nino, directed by Peter Sellars and conducted by Kent Nagano at the Theatre Musical de Paris-Chatelet. He has since sung the role of the 1st Countertenor over 30 times with some of the world's most prestigious ensembles including the BBC Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, Atlanta Symphony, Holland Radio Orchestra, Deutsches Symphonie Orchester-Berlin and the Tokyo Symphony.
Equally at home performing music of the 17th and 18th century, Mr. Bubeck has been a featured soloist with such diverse groups as the Catacoustic Consort, Atlanta Baroque Orchestra, Michigan Bach Collegium and Brandywine Baroque. He has also collaborated with such well-known conductors as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Robert Spano, Nicholas McGegan, and Christopher Hogwood.
A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Daniel holds musical degrees from Indiana University, Peabody Conservatory and the University of Delaware and has studied with such acclaimed period specialists as Alan Bennett, Max van Egmond, Drew Minter and Paul Hillier.
Upcoming engagements for Mr. Bubeck include the title role in Handel's Solomon with the Bach Chorale Singers, the role of Nummer 2 in Hans Werner Henze's Das verratene Meer with the Tokyo Symphony as well as further performances of El Nino in Sweden and Norway.

Nathan Davis - tenor
(New York, NY)
University of Illinois (BMus, Vocal Performance); Westminster Choir College (MMus, Choral Conducting) Nathan is pursuing a double career as vocal soloist and choral conductor. As tenor soloist he has a wide and varied background spanning four centuries. His repertoire includes the bach Passions, Mass in B Minor, and Christmas Oratorio; and numerous works of Handel, Monteverdi, and Carissimi.
He has appeared at the Spoleto Festival USA; the San Antonio Opera Festival; and with numerous concert and choral societies in the eastern US, in repertoire ranging from Bach and Handel to Offenbach and Bernstein.
Upcoming engagements include the Mariazeller Mass of Haydn in a recording for Hanssler in New York; and Handel's "Israel in Egypt" with the Masterworks Chorale and with bachworks in New York.
In May, 2004, Nathan was the winner of the third biennial Vocal Competition of the American Bach Society and the bach Choir of Bethlehem. In addition to receiving a cash prize, Nathan will appear as soloist at the 2005 Bethlehem bach Festival in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Nathan also was a semi-finalist in the New York Oratorio Society Competition, and the winner of the Haddonfield Choral Society Young Artists Competition.
A student of Joseph Flummerfeld and James Jordan at Westminster Choir College, Nathan is also active as a choral conductor, and is the founder/director of the Young New Yorkers' Chorus, a choir for young adults in New York City. The group makes its debut in New York City in May, 2004.

Tim Krol - baritone
(San Francisco, CA)
A native of Long Island, New York, Tim Krol performed and toured with Chanticleer, America's premier a cappella vocal ensemble, from 1991 to 2000. He can be heard on thirteen of that group's recordings, including the Grammy Award-winning Colors of Love. He recently appeared as a soloist with the Minnesota Orchestra, singing Greek and Sanskrit chants in the world premiere of Ikon of Eros, by Sir John Tavener. He also sings the lead role of Jim on the critically acclaimed recording of David Conte's chamber opera, The Gift of the Magi, on the Arsis label.
Opera credits include The Ferryman in Benjamin Britten's Curlew River; Harry or Larry in Elliot Carter's What Next?; Jim Easton in David Conte's The Dreamers; and Schaunard in Puccini's La boheme.
As a concert and oratorio soloist, Tim has performed in cities throughout the United States, including many of Bach's Cantatas, St. John Passion (Jesus); Handel's Messiah, Judas Maccabeus, Aci, Galatea e Polifemo; Haydn's Theresienne Messe, Paukenmesse, Creation; Vivaldi's Magnificat; Ralph Vaughan Williams' Dona Nobis Pacem; and the title role in Mendelssohn's Elijah.
