Here is a very goofy little arrangement I put together in my home studio on Sunday December 23, with a Macintosh, Garageband, the Taylor 714 guitar in the photo, a microphone, and lots and lots of wires. I also had freshly-baked cinnamon buns and a latte (both lovingly made by Ginna) that were of vital importance to the overall project.

The sounds on this recording are all real and were made by me within in the span of a few hours. This final stereo version was mixed down from 24 tracks containing 32 separately recorded takes (not to mention all the takes that were discarded). Each bit varied in length from a few measures to one verse.

The finished song is four minutes long. Not Grammy potential, but it's the thought that counts, and my thoughts are:

I wish you, those you love, and those who love you a wonderful 2008.
