Sonia Gariaeff is a rising star on the opera scene, widely hailed for her florid vocal fireworks and bold comic flare. Sonia was first prize winner in the 2003 Carmel Music Society Competition, and made her debut at the Carmel Bach Festival in 2005 in the Festival's Vocal Master Class.

The August 10 Monterey Herald describes her singing as "spirited, joyous...rich, and tender".

Elspeth Franks made a triumphant debut as Soprano Soloist at the 2005 Carmel Bach Festival in Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and "Trauer-Kantate."

This dynamic and heartwarming vocal artist is known in the classical vocal world for her phenomenal vocal range. She appears internationally in opera and concerts in both soprano and alto roles.
