About Melinda Coffey

Printed Program

Join David and Melinda for a lighthearted journey through eight centuries of love songs and poems.

You'll hear ancient ballads from the medieval troubadors and modern ones by Cole Porter.

Mournful love songs by Franz Schubert and Hank Williams.

Shakespearean ditties and operatic rarities.

And a few musical views of love you've probably never thought of before! Read a repertoire list here!

David Gordon, world-renowned singer, teacher, and teller of tales, brings his big heart and wacky sense of the absurd to this afternoon of songs and poetry.
This amazingly versatile musician, well known for his intimate concerts of
both classical and folk music, will open your heart and amuse your mind with poetry, song, and story.

He is joined by his friend and (equally offbeat) colleague Melinda Coffey, one of our region's most beloved pianists.
